Ce film a été produit dans le cadre d’un projet visant à partager les connaissances que l’on a des raisons qui poussent certains à abandonner le crime et à en améliorer la compréhension. Le projet est financé par l’Economic and Social Research Council et l’université George Mason. Le responsable de projet est Fergus McNeill (Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research, Université de Glasgow), le reste de l’équipe étant composé de Stephen Farrall (université de Sheffield), Claire Lightowler(Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services) et Shadd Maruna (Institute of Criminology & Criminal Justice, université Queen’s de Belfast).

This film was produced as part of a project to share the knowledge we have of why some to abandon crime and improve understanding. To learn more about the project as a whole and to be able to comment on the film, visit the blog Discovering desistance. We also produced a synthesis that complements the film, titled How and why people stop offending (How and why does not recur).
